About the activity
Visit the Soča Valley and explore the emerald Soča river the adventurous way! Float over bubbling rapids with an experienced guide and cool off in crystal-clear pools. Rafting is a team sport in which you can explore deep emerald pools, spot the Soča trout and soak up the energy of the beautiful peaks around the river.
The classic Boka – Trnovo section has both easier and more demanding rapids. It is an 8 km run starting near the 106 m high Boka waterfall. The rafting trip (up to 8 guests) starts on a calmer stretch, used to practise the paddling techniques you have learned. On the hour-and-a-half run, in the last part of the river, we also test our courage on grade IV rapids. The whole rafting adventure takes 3 hours including changing and transport.
We start the water adventure at our agency in the centre of Bovec. We introduce your guide, who hands out all the necessary equipment, and drive to the put-in. We put on the gear and get a few safety instructions. After practising the basic safety and paddling techniques, we set off on our adventure! When the river trip is over, we return to Bovec, look at photos of the adventure and say goodbye until we meet again. You only need a towel, a swimsuit and dry underwear.
